My friend Lisa went to see Jerry Cantrell that night, but her dinner made her sick, so her & her date left before he came on. Personally i woulda hucked right there and stayed for Jerry, as attractive as i'm sure that would be...... but anyway--
Here's how my April 21st went. i got up early, started sorting out the recycling (we do not have trash pickup) and was planning to take out the trash. I was also doing laundry and had the kids doing some chores (mostly they were playing as it was really nice out).
Ian drank a 12-pack of beer and a few strays he found in the fridge, then refused to let me drive him to the store and came home with an 18-pack. We had already been in one fight with me crying and i had called the police when he was gone to ask what i can do. they said call 911. yeah right.
so then he comes back and i hear screams from the bedroom (screen door opens to the porch and i was out front). all my kids screaming for me to help jake. 204-lb ian sat on jake and hit him. i called 911 dammit! so jake gets away and ian chases him outside and rips his shirt cuz he can't open the door and run at the same time. don't ask about chewing gum... so the cops get there 20 mins later and everyone has calmed down. he couldn't even stand up and they did nothing but run his ID, at which point he went inside grabbed his brew and disappeared out the back door. mind you this is 12:40 in the afternoon.
the cops made me leave which i did. i came back monday to find ian drunk and the couch and carpet soaked with something very ammonia-smelling. a table was knocked over, my plant was dead and the fan was broken off its stand.
i filed for divorce on tuesday and he was served saturday.
he is now staying at "wedge's" house (his drummer).
the day after he was served, i circled want ads in the paper, finished the kitchen floor, put the stove, fridge and table/chairs back in the kitchen and moved the old couches out and put the new ones in the living room. my house looks nice!
i'm off to my attorney's office ~
