ok so i'm going to be the "executive assistant" to the owner of this huge law firm and i'm going to oversee the 2 guys doing the website work because after a month and a half there still isn't anything online. he's just started 4 or 5 new businesses (offshoots of the main law firm) and has a huge new business in the works which i'm also going to play a major role in. also i'm going to help with the trademark stuff because that atty. seems to be a bit lazy. doesn't even show up sometimes.i have a feeling lots of people over there are just joyriding and i'm gonna be the one to have to give 'em their pink slips. he already told me he's going to lay off some people, but that he's really not good at it. uh-oh. that's something i've never had to do before. i hope it's not one of those deals where everybody hates me from day one cuz i can't take that shit - i'm too emotionally fragile.
the really big part of this is that it involves moving - me & the kids moving out of state - and i can't tell my soon-to-be ex (who's moved back in) because he will freak out and could get violent. he's also getting stuck with the house although my atty swears up and down there's no way to take me off the mortgage so i guess there goes my perfect credit. oh well who cares, right? so i'm sneaking all my stuff into storage as he sleeps because i don't know how else to do this. damn, "the real world" ain't got nothin' on my life right now!!! anyway i'm going to live with my mom (gawd!) and be able to work like 7 to 3:30 or so and i can pick up the kids after school (which is literally right down the same street. only problem is that my 4 yr old juju, who btw knows all her numbers and letters and can write and spell and work the computer (she even found juju.com on the internet like 6 months ago) won't be able to get into K5 unless i can WAY charm the principal because the cutoff is sept 30 and her bday is in november. jeez the dang SC birth certificate was done on one of those "brother" automatic erase typewriters i know i could erase the NOV and put in SEPT but hell then i'd have to change the shot records, my friend is a nurse tho so i could get a blank one. i don't know. i'm tempted but i think i'm gonna put her in private school for a year. it's cheaper than daycare for 3 kids so it kind of all works out. i've pretty much made up my mind even though i swear i could re-do the cert. oh well, hate to lie hate to lie. also just had to renew my car reg/driver's lic and don't feel like paying personal property tax AGAIN so i'm' gonna keep everything registered in this state, can't wait to see what kind of problems that'll cause me although i'm not planning on making myself very apparent to law enforcement where i'm going. it'll be home- school - work - that's it. work is like 3 miles away so i'm not gonna attract too much attention i hope *fingers crossed*
