RANDOM POST

i just got a job as the supervisor of the website dept. at a huge law firm that's running 4 or 5 other companies and getting ready to launch a huge new company of its own as well. i'm also going to be handling some of the trademark stuff because that particular atty needs a lil kick in the ass (or that's the message i'm picking up from the other people there). i've already got people apologizing for not recognizing my voice when i call ! what the hell is that? i don't care about that. my biggest thrill lately has been trying to catch the huge vulture that's eating the dead dog in our backyard (it's way in the back behind a bunch of trees but i can't find it so i think the vulture took it home)...

the kids & i will be moving to a big city, where i used to live in the late 80s. haven't told my hubby yet, told him i'm "just putting stuff in storage to get rid of the clutter" under advisement from my atty. will be living w/my mom (GAWD) rent-free and have flexible hrs so i can pick up kids from school (which = no daycare costs). i won't be making that much money, but that's ok because i bought a new imac for $299 (from a guy named jerry at sears) and will be practicing on it at night. then i'll be off to a fantastic high-paying job because they pay out the ass for mac exp, even freelancers are needed in the big city (woo-hoo).

went to see God, made my way to the front and he spit in my face! then very casually played a few more licks before he leaned over the rail to tell me "sorry." jeez, what a guy won't go thru just for a good shot of cleavage.

other than that IT'S A FUCKING SAUNA here in the south and my energy is dwindling. must pack must pack. my personal site continues to suffer because i'm still working on sites like planetaide.org and helping lisa out with "the door" from time to time (she gets more hits than i do [BITCH!]), in addition to working on logo, website, brochure, database, etc. for the new non-profit organization in my town to help victims of domestic violence. i'm a board member and on their finance committee, too.

anyways that's all for me. ...it's too bad we don't have some better way to deal with death. i think it's because we can't go together. we just lose someone, and loss is a bad thing. but dying is a natural thing. we really need a better way to deal with it. when i die, it's recycling time. no casket, no headstone, no ridiculous expenditure of money and NO CHURCH! i just want to go to the vultures and everyone must party.
